Or don't subscribe at all
Charging a subscription for a tool that finds unwanted subscriptions would be absurd.
So there's a version you buy once and never think about again. No renewal, nothing to cancel, no date to remember. If you're the kind of person this product is for, this is probably the option you want.
Why more months costs more
One statement genuinely can't find your subscriptions
A recurring charge is only detectable once we've seen the same merchant bill you at least twice. That's arithmetic, not a paywall we designed.
| Statements | What becomes detectable |
|---|---|
| 1 free of charge | Categories and merchants. Almost no subscriptions — there's no second charge to compare against. |
| 3 | Monthly subscriptions, confidently. |
| 12 | Yearly and quarterly charges, and the first price rises. |
| 36 | Repeat annual increases — the ones that compound quietly. |
Fair questions about paying
Is any finding ever behind the paywall?
No, and it never will be. If we spot a charge draining you, you see it and you get the cancellation link on the free tier. Charging you to be told what you're already paying for is the thing we're reacting against.
So what am I actually paying for?
Time. History across months, trends, several accounts together, a warning before an annual charge lands, and the report arriving by email without you doing anything.
Do you take a cut of what I save?
No. Trim takes a third of the first year's savings on bills it negotiates. We take nothing, ever — and we're not going to add it later, because it would make the entire premise dishonest.
How hard is cancelling?
One click in your account. No phone call, no chat window, no retention offer. It would be indefensible for this product of all products to make that difficult.
